Week in Review

January 17-23, 2022

This is the first post of a series of weekly reviews where I write about my learnings, favorite content and everything else I want to reflect on in the past week..

Last week I started this little website and also created my account on Twitter. I'm planning to post small updates about my learnings, obstacles, wins and losses when I get started with my Crazy Eight Challenge in February. So far I've come across a few great people on Twitter that inspire me to keep going.

People & Wins

Yossi also joined Twitter only very recently. He just launched his product Pomozen and is tweeting about his progress and accomplishments. Yossi also made me aware of Loom, a tool to quickly record videos of your screen and cam. I haven't used it yet, but I can see it being a great tool to record product demos or answer support questions.

Marie, who builds Llama Life, did just that: she answered a support question by recording a short video. Since this first recording she has created a few more how-to videos. (Marie, if you read this, you definitely deserved the beer afterwards!)

Liz is another great person to follow. She co-founded and grows stagetimer.io. Besides that, she also reads a book/week and shares the best insights so we can decide if it's worth reading them or not. This week, Liz celebrated a few nights getting new customers while she was asleep. I'm looking forward to reading her book summaries and following her journey.

Goals for Next Week

  • decide on idea #1 for c8c
  • publish one side hustle thought-of-the-day tweet per day
  • continue my streak of preparing all my meals instead going to the restaurant

If you like this format you might want to connect with me on Twitter.
